Bonneville Salt Flats

This location is about 2 hours west of SLC which can be a ways, but this location is absolutely one of the best! Just drive basically straight west on a SUPER straight road and you are there! All year pictures make this location super versatile, although it does get pretty chilly! In the spring and fall the flats have a small amount of water glazed on the top, making for some of the most incredible mirror photos you could get! Plenty of room, and plenty of pretty!

Little Sahara Sand Dunes

This location is one of my ABSOLUTE favorites for bridals! EPIC sands, gorgeous desert trees, and the most beautiful sunshine and sky you’ve ever seen. If you want a surreal bridal photoshoot, this is it. Located about an hour from Provo, UT, this spot is actually pretty doable. Just take the straight and simple road south west, and soon enough you will see the sands! This location does require an entrance fee of $18 per vehicle (Updated 04/25/23), but can be accessed by any type of car. That being said, if you do not have an off-roading car you should probably stay out of the sand as much as possible. Even the little piles of sand on the side of the road….(People HAVE gotten stuck even there) Good in all seasons, and unique in all as well. If you want some truly epic photos try going here in winter and getting a snow AND sand look for your bridal photoshoot! All in all, you CANNOT go wrong with the sand dunes. There is hardly a more romantic choice of location than this!

Utah State Capitol Building

This spot is for those couples who want the grand and classy vibes all the way! HOWEVER the budding trees outside in the spring also make for some fairytale outdoor photos! Located in the north east hillside of SLC, this location is SUPER easy to get to. Walk around the exterior for some classy and sophisticated vibes, and even take a look inside for some ULTRA grand and stunning photos! Easy access, easy photos, but GORGEOUS results. This location cannot be passed up!

Jordan Pines

This location is about 40 minutes up the canyon nestled in between the cozy mountains among a gorgeous backdrop of pines, and in the fall, the most stunning colors you’ve ever seen! Typically quite busy, but worth it! Great for all seasons of the year and any size group!

Silver Lake

This location is found at the top of big cottonwood canyon. The forest service is pretty strict with staying on the boardwalk, but just a short walk in you have a beautiful trail and pinetrees as a backdrop for some of the most stunning photos! Limited to spring-fall shoots however.

Utah Lake

This location is one of the easiest to get to and makes for some great photos! In the fall and winter the grass dies making for some gorgeous golden glows! In the spring and summer however the grass gets cut down and then when it grows back it gets green. So it’s pretty versatile. Easy access if you want some easy pictures! The same vibe can be found on the either side of Utah lake if the grass conditions vary too much.
